• The Miramare Agency is your guide to the practical supports in Mental Health. Our clients are adults, children, youth and their families dealing with long term Mental Health disability. We only access disability support for you. Treatment supports can be accessed directly.

• Otago District Health Board funded services include: Supported Residential places with staff, Domestic Assistance and Personal Care at home, Community Support Workers to visit, Respite Facilities and the Carer Support Progamme to provide breaks, the Supportive Landlord Programme. We are also your guide into additional programmes that are not Otago DHB funded.

• Miramare is here to help you find your way through the maze of possibilities. We don't provide the services directly, but Miramare sort out what the best solutions are for you. We will visit you to write a report for you about the options. We will help you start up these services, authorise the funding and we stay in touch to ensure the services remain suitable.

• We don't want to promise too much. We concentrate on those with serious situations. Sometimes the ideal service is just not available and we sometimes decline referrals.
